When people refer to the Measure of Central Tendency, what are they talking about?
typically the measures of central tendency are mean, median, mode Mean–essentially the average Median–essentially the middle number, you find this by listing all numbers in the set in order, then start to cross off from each end equally, if the set has an odd number of items you will end on the median, if it does not (thus even) there will be two numbers which you must take the average of. if you have recurring numbers then you cant cross out all of them in one cross-out, you need to count each individually Mode–this is the last measure of central tendency, it is the most recurring number in a set,it is possible to have more than one Mode hope this helps!!
