When ordering, is the insurance information pulled over into the CareEvolve system along with all the other patient demographics?
The insurance is pulled over with all the patient demographics. If this does not happen it is likely that the client’s “Payer List” has not been created or the client manually entered a payer which is not on the payer list. In the EHR, the client must set up a list of all the insurances they work with prior to ordering labs or they will have to select the insurance within CareEvolve. Furthermore, the client will then need to assign insurance to a patient file with the patient’s demographics. Once the insurance is entered into the EHR it will copy over to CareEvolve when ordering labs.
