I usually try the Esc key and if that does not work, then I try to shut down by pressing Ctrl + Alt + delete. If that doesn’t work, then I do a hard shut down by pressing the power button on the tower. Wait a few minutes and Power up again. This has not happened to me much at all on the computer I am using now but it happened quite often on my old computer that had less RAM and other lower specs. I have found it’s best to be very cautious when clicking on any links. Do not click on pop up links as they are usually some kind of malware. If you take good care of your computer, it will take good care of you by performing well.
