A Discount Health Care Card Program Operator must remove a provider from the Discount Health Care Card Program not later than the 30th day after the date the operator learns that the provider has lost the authority to provide services or products, including the suspension or revocation of the provider’s license. (See §76.054(2) of the Act). A health care provider network must: (a) maintain and provide the Discount Health Care Card Program operator on a monthly basis an up-to-date list of providers in the provider network; and (b) promptly remove a health care provider from its network if the provider loses the authority to provide health care services. (See §76.056 of the Act).
