When must advisers registered with the SEC begin using the amended Form ADV?
Advisers must provide responses to the additional questions in amended Form ADV in their first annual updating amendment after January 1, 2011. Advisers who file an initial Form ADV before the updated Form ADV is available in IARD may use their first annual updating amendment to provide answers to these additional questions.
