When migrating from OfficeVision/400, how should the rollout of DTM for iSeries be planned?

0

If possible, it is recommended to gradually move DTM for iSeries into production, based on certain criteria, e.g. departments, sections, applications or specific folders. During the initial phase of the roll out DTM for iSeries, it is recommended to have a fallback plan in place to allow switching back to OV/400 documents and applications, if there is an urgent need to do so. When all documents and applications have been migrated to DTM for iSeries, and everything has been running successfully for a couple of days/weeks/months, the OV/400 documents may be archived and removed from the system, to free up disk space.
