I’ve used both and had no problems. You’re really not using much so I don’t think it matters at all. If you’re making a fish batter, may I suggest something else that you may like? Tempura batter works really well and is nice and crunchy. All you do is by the mix and add water or club soda for a flakier crust. It’s a lot lighter than using flour based batters. JMO You should give it a try though. Tempura batter is awesome for deep frying tons of things. I’ve deep fried oreos with like at the carnivals and it worked well.
