When making a guest list for a small wedding reception…?
Concentrate on those closest to you both. That’s what my fiance and I did. We both agreed to have a small wedding, but when we each wrote our minimum/must-invite guest lists, I could see his idea of small wasn’t the same as mine. He’s inviting about 60 from his side, while I’m inviting about 16. This is mostly because he has more aunts/uncles/cousins, plus he sees some of his second cousins several times a year and is close to them. I don’t worry about the fact that he has more relatives there than me, the important thing is that the people who are the most important to each of us are invited to our wedding.
