I see no possible reaction mechanism possible. The result is to keep in solution with no reduction in the compounds concentration. Keep in mind that Psilocybin inhibites the perception of alcohol. This means you can drink and not feel the affect. This is dangerous as it can lead to over use of alcohol and alcohol poisoning and in some cases death.
