When it comes to business, the environment and social responsibility, what does “sustainable” mean to you?

To me, the key concept behind sustainability is accountability. For a business to be sustainable, I think that it must be accountable for the environmental and human rights impacts of its activities. I think that it must also have adapted its practices for the use of renewable resources. The sad truth is that many profit-oriented corporations will forge an image of social responsibility through various marketing and public relations techniques, although this apparent image does not necessarily mean that they are sustainable. Just my opinion, hope it helps! Sources: This is my opinion.
