When is the world going to end?
According to God’s Word, the Bible, Planet Earth will never “end” in thesense of being forever done away with. It will, however, be radicallyreshaped by God’s creative fire into a planet, or world, much different thanit is presently. Jesus’ disciples asked him in the Olivet discourse to tell them when theend of the world would come. Actually, they asked: when will be the end ofthe age? The question involved the end of human history as it had been knownto that point. That age about which they questioned the Lord is still goingon in our time. Jesus answered by giving a list of prophetic signs that will precede HisSecond Coming. Christ indicated that the world, as it was then known, andis now known, would end when He returned. Revelation tells us that Jesus’Millennial Kingdom will be the next “earth age.” It will last 1000 years, after which time the Great White Throne judgmentwill take place, where all lost people of all ages will be judged andsentenced to eternity apart from God. There are a HEAP of theories about when the world is going to end; people were certain it was going to end on January 1, 2000 (And we are still here) 2012 is an interesting year, because on the 21st of December, all the planets actually line up diagonally (something that happens very rarely), possibly causing the Earth to go into havoc. (And possibly end) It’s just a theory, but who knows? Realistically, though, the world will end in a couple of million years because the slow expansion rate of the sun. When the sun eventually explodes and dies out, it will swallow the Earth. =[ 2012, in my opinion, will not result in the end of the world. But just live like every day is your last, and you’ll be right!
The Earth’s end is unexplainable, though anything could happen. These are some Earth Problems that maybe cause ending to Earth: 1) Planet’s Danger of Asteroids and Meteorites 2) Global Warming 3) The ozone layer in the atmoshere could be depleted COMPLETELY!! (Which is the sun’s radiation like Ultra Violet, Infrared, X-Ray, etc. would land on Earth and destroy all life) 4) Natural Calamities But this are just things that could MAYBE happen, let God decide how should we end. But I wish not!!
