When is the theatre presentation of “The Sound of Music” commencing at South Baldwin Community Theatre?
Come and join us for the opening of our new season! We open with “The Sound of Music”, perhaps the “most beloved musical” of all time. The music and lyrics are by Rodgers and Hammerstein; the book is by Lindsay and Crouse. Performance dates are September 17 – 20; 24-27; and October 1-4. The Sunday performances are at 2PM, while the other performances begin at 7:30PM. Please call the Box Office at 251-968-6721 to reserve your seats. “The Sound Of Music” dwells on how after the Von Trapp Family head after the loss of his beloved wife got married to the family governess. “The Sound Of Music” will be commencing on September 17th and will continue shows until October 4th at South Baldwin Community Theatre. Tickets at the SBTC (situated at 2022W.Second St.in Gulf Shores, opposite Bodenhamer Recreation Center)will be available costing $18 for adults. Students can however take advantage of their status and avail it cheaper for $12 only. Thursday, Friday and Saturday timings are 7:30 pm and on Sundays the shows begin at 2 noon.
