It was piloted by U.S. Navy commander Ken Ham. There was an alternat time to land later that day, and 2 windows on the next day. It delivered the Kibo science module to the space station, along with parts to fix the malfunctioning toilet. They exchanged crew members and supplies for the station, and returned to Earth, all in 14 days. The new module will allow unique scientific experiments to be done that cannot be done on Earth. There were no major glitches on the flight. Discovery returns to the station in Novemeber to install additional truss segments.
