When is the right time to involve an Owner s Rep?
It is critical that the Owner’s Rep be involved as early in the life cycle of the project as possible, but certainly before any site selection takes place. Ideally, an Owner’s Rep will have the skill set to work with the client organization to define user requirements, develop headcount models, and define organizational required to support the project. These factors all will have a strong bearing on the site selection, and also the terms of the lease, option, or purchase of a given site.
