The right time is whenever it is right for you and your boyfriend. There is no right or wrong time. And please dont think you need to do it just because your friends did. It will be more special if you do it on your own.

You should get engaged when you meet the right person and you are both mature enough to get married. Just because everyone else around you is engaged doesn’t mean you have to be. If you’re both ready and want to get married what everyone else is doing doesn’t matter. If you and all friends do end up engaged all at the same time—Just don’t plan your weddings on the same day!!

You will totally know when it is the right time. If u aren’t sure, its not the right time. I believe that my husband and me’s timeline is perfect though. We were together a year, then lived together for a year, and then were engaged a year before the wedding.

Take it from me darling, this is no decision that would be decided upon what your friends do or don’t do.You should however make very sure that it is what you really want so as to prevent anyone from getting hurt.It is so hard already to change your mind about these things but giving it serious thought could save you both time.Time that can be used to find the right person.
