Call of Duty: World at War is the fifth game in the main Call of Duty series and was developed by Treyarch. The game returns the franchise to its World War II roots, but avoids the overplayed battles from the war, focusing instead on the Pacific Theater and the Eastern Front. The game released for the Wii, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Nintendo DS and PC in November of 2011 and features single player, online multiplayer and co-op modes.
