When is the Newcastle – Norway Fjord Line Route Coming Back?
There are rumors of other companies wanting to start a similar service, but nothing has been announced or confirmed. You wouldn’t need to book this far in advance anyway, I usually bought tickets just a few weeks before the trip. The line is seriously missed by many people. It was by far the cheapest way to visit friends in the UK, and Norway has lost some tourism as well due to the cancellation. It’s not really a fjord mini cruise though. Most of the journey is out at sea, except for the stops. You don’t see much of the actual fjords, just a lot of islands and some low mountains.
