When is the neap tide and spring tides in january 2008?

In order to know when each of these tides will occur, all you have to do is check a lunar calendar. The neap tides occur at the first and third (last) quarter phases of the Moon and the spring tides occur at the new and full phases. The simplest calendar that I was able to find is here ( http://kalender-365.de/lunar-calendar.php ). However, they have a couple of symbols mislabeled. The “Waxing moon, crescent” should really be “First quarter” and “Waning moon, crescent” should be “Third quarter”. So, mach the phases as described above, and you will know which tides to expect.
