When is the metal roof covering the exterior of the Chapel coming down?
The metal roof was erected in 1997 to protect the Chapel from the Scottish rain (of which there is a lot). Now that the Chapel stonework has had a chance to dry out and with work to make the roof watertight beginning shortly, we hope to be able to remove the metal canopy by the end of 2009 or at the very latest the first few months of 2010.
