When is the legal age to move out without parental consent??
Legally, you need to be 16 before your parents have no rights to bring you back. However, that doesn’t mean it’s a good idea to leave! Life in the real world is hard on all kinds of levels and it’s really normal for someone of your age to think that you’d be better off somewhere else but that is not usually the case. You should take stock of what you have available to you right now and also how isolated you will be once you are out in the big wide world by your self. Trust me, supporting your self financially and emotionally at such a young age is VERY VERY HARD! I’m speaking from experience and if I would have had a choice I would have LOVED to have a family home to go back to. Arguments and the blame game are very small parts of your teenage life and as time goes on those things will pass. My advice is stick it out and take advantage of having a home and a family. A lot of us don’t have that luxury, no matter how crappy it seems to you right now. Finish school, get qualifications, ge
