First Year. • There is no portfolio requirement or application required by our Department for first year students entering UBC and taking first year visual art courses. Second and Third Year Students Transferring to UBC. • The Department application deadline is March 31st for second and third year students transferring to UBC, who wish to specialize in visual arts in the Department or Art History, Visual Art and Theory.
