When is the deadline to submit applications for the Big Game Drawing?
. Applications for premium deer, elk, antelope, and bighorn sheep tags must be submitted through the Automated License Data System (ALDS) at any license agent, a DFG license sales office or online. To qualify for the big game drawing, the application must be submitted and the sales transaction completed before midnight on June 2, 2011. Mail-in applications will not be accepted. DFG license sales offices will be open during normal business hours on June 2. Important: In order to purchase hunting items online, hunters must have proof of hunter education on file in ALDS. All hunters who have purchased hunting items via ALDS and most hunters that have applied during the last five years in the annual Big Game Drawing will have proof of hunter education on file.
