You can’t apply through clearance until the day A Level exam results are released. If you don’t get what you want, don’t panic, your sixth form/college should have people in on the day to help you out. Phone the unis you didn’t get into’s admission office as they may still accept you because it could be due to 10 points or something silly, or you may have lost out in a subject that isn’t relevant to the course you have applied for. In the meantime, don’t panic, just work hard and at the end of June/beginning of July it will all be over! Don’t forget, A-Levels are the hardest thing you will ever do. I speak form experience – I did mine last year and was so tempted to withdraw my uni application as I was convinced I wouldn’t get in, I was all set to drop out of sixth form and everything and now I have completed 2 terms of a uni course I love and haven’t looked back since! Once you have the A-level results, they’re worthless. Horrible I know, but once you have them, noone cares!
