When is the Best Time to Hand Out Groomsmen Gifts?
I’ve heard and read varying advice on when it is appropriate to hand out groomsmen gifts. Answers vary but you need to go with commonsense. Here is a summary of the suggestions that seemed the most reasonable: 1. Hand out groomsmen gifts before the wedding. This seems counterintuitive. Some would guess that you would want to wait until after the wedding. Then these gifts would be a reward for a job well done. It doesn’t work that way. You wouldn’t have asked your friends to be your groomsmen if they were unreliable would you? You have to work off the assumption that they will do a good job at your wedding and are already deserving of a thank you gift based on what they’ve already done for you in regards to being a friend and helping you with your wedding.
