There is really no best or worst time. Countries in different hemispheres have different academic years and tend to hire year round anyway, on an as-needed basis. as an example, in Thailand, the academic semester runs between June and October and November and March. The best time for looking for work in Thailand is usually between March and June before the start of the academic semester.
