When is the best time to contact DAI and begin the process?
The sooner you contact DAI the more likely it is that we can achieve success early in the SSA process. The best time is after you’ve been off work three or four months, before you make the initial application for SSDI benefits. It is never too late to contact DAI for assistance. We can accept your case regardless of what stage your case has reached, provided the U.S. District Court has not ruled against your appeal.
