When is the best time to come in to talk to a Building Inspector or Planner?
It is recommended that applicants come in during counter hours between 8am to 10am. The front counter is fully staffed at this time and if a project requires review with other departments as well, they will be available to further assist you. Should you choose to come in outside of counter hours, there is no guarantee that someone will be available. Keep in mind that the City Planners and Building Inspectors perform site inspections, attend meetings, and perform a variety of other tasks.
