When is the best time of year to visit Thailand weather wise?
It depends: on how much time you have and how versatile you are. If you can deal with rain from time to time Apr-Nov tends to be rainier but also with long stretches of no rain at all… the rain is not near as bad as the books will lead people to believe. But if you are looking for the statistically best weather time of year to come, then Dec to Feb, it is cooler and rains less that time of year and is consequently the most expensive time to go anywhere and do anything in this country… it is called the “high season” I have lived here 4 years and normally travel in the “low season” because the rain is not near as prevalent as people think… last Dec (dry month) it rained more than i have seen in the time i have been here.
