When is the best time of year to use Cockadoodle DOO Organic Lawn & Garden Fertilizer?
Any season is a good time to use Cockadoodle DOO Organic Lawn & Garden Fertilizer! That is one of the best things about it… In the Spring, use it to prepare flower beds, vegetable gardens, container pots on the patio/porch, window boxes, and apply to your lawn as well. In the Summer, it is wonderful food for your lawn even on the hottest days when the grass root system is pale, laying dormant and screaming to be fed. Chemical fertilizers will burn your grass if applied this time of year. Also, the heavy feeders in your vegetable garden (e.g., tomatoes, peppers, zucchini, squash, pumpkins, soft melons, blueberries/strawberries, and anything growing on a vine) should be fed every 2 to 3 weeks for maximum output. In the Fall, apply it to your lawn in late October/early November as your grass root system will continue to grow and thicken up until the dead of winter sets in. This is also a great time to use our Organic Fertilizer to prepare your flower beds and vegetable garden for winter.
