When is the best time of the year weather wise to take a cruise to the bahamas?
The spring is probably the best time weather wise to take a cruise to the Bahamas. The weather can still be beautiful (80s-90s) June through November, but it is also hurricane season. The winter months in the Bahamas can present a mixed bag. You might get some really perfect days, but I’ve also been in the Bahamas in January and February when the high was 60 degrees! While it is technically the start of the hurricane season, they are rare in June so you can go between March and June for the best chance at the great weather.
I would say whenever the weather is at its absolute worst where you live would be the best time, because the weather doesn’t change much in the Bahamas, except if you go in the fall, through about mid-November, there is always the possibility of getting caught in a hurricane. So go in January. August is hot in Florida and you have to go to Florida to go the the Bahamas on a cruise.
