When is the best time of the month to try to conceive?
Your best time is in between your periods. Start charting when your period starts and how long it lasts. You ovulate between one to two weeks after your period. That is obviously the best time as you need that egg in the right spot before it can be fertilized. You cannot get pregnant during your period as the thick lining that is created in your uterus (for implanting a fertilized egg) is dripping out and that is what your period is. If you don’t have that, you don’t have a place for the egg to lay and grow. Also, check your mucus. I know that sounds grosse but when your mucus is tacky or sticky, that is the best time.
