When is the best period to visit Koh Samui?
Koh Samui is a preferred holiday destination for nearly 10 months a year. Mid January to late May and July till end of October as well as the periods over Christmas and New Year, Lunar New Year (in early February) are considered by most villa owners/management as High Season, sometimes even peak period. The monsoon months are usually November till mid-December. There is a surcharge added to the regular rental rate for Peak seasons and an additional minimum rental period is required (5 days).
