When is the 8th-generation of video-game consoles expected to start?
Commander I doubt they will make a new console any time soon and yes it is worth it, but if I were you I’d go with the x-box 360 because it is cheaper, it has way more games, and you can find used games for it as low as $15. If you want to be able to play blueray though you should go with the PS3. As I remember reading in a article with both the developers of both next gen consoles and they were asked when would they be making new consoles and they stated ” I dont think at this point we need a new console as we can just keep upgrading our consoles as it is still new fresh technology, but if we should decide to start working on a new console we would start within the next five years or so”.
