When is spray foam insulation installed?
Foam insulation is installed at the same in the construction process as other types of insulation. It should be installed after the rough plumbing, electrical wiring, and heating and air conditioning ducts have been installed, and before the interior walls are completed in new home construction. It also provides for an excellent noise reduction barrier isolating noisy utility closets or washrooms.
