When is Job Specific Skills Training the appropriate Employment Activity?
Job Specific Skills Training is only appropriate when a participant cannot meet his/her employment goal through any other employment activity. Participants must attend an information session and complete a training package. Ontario Works participants are expected to find jobs in the specific industry once their training is completed or they are referred to Community or Employment Placement.
