Technology items usually go down in price around October…before X-Mas…. Generally, a computer becomes obsolete about 4-5 years after you get it…if that helps at all. But as long as it runs all of the stuff you need, it is fine!

One the old one does allow you to updated the computer any more. If you are having problems with the computer itself.

If you dont use you computer for gaming or heavy applications you wont need to upgrade. If you use it just to browse the internet or to make powerpoints or write documents you should at least have your computer 5 years from your purchase date. Of course there will be a break down sooner or later. If your computer breaks down and its older than 5 years dont fix it buy a new one. If its younger dont fix it if the cost will exceed more than half of what you paid for it.
