When is it time to start potty training?
I feel your pain. At 3, my daughter STILL refused to use the potty. She’d go no matter what I put her in. I tried bribery with stickers and toys and treats and nothing worked. I even followed a friend’s advice and made her help clean up her own messes. I tried getting mad, I tried putting the panties inside the diaper, I tried showing her her friends who were potty trained and how they used panties and the potty. Not even that worked. I went ahead and put her in a preschool that required potty training in the 3 year class, sent her in pull ups and told the teacher to call me if she needed to be changed. I thought that if she saw that all the other kids used the potty, maybe she would too. Even that didn’t work. I bought fancy panites. I let her pick out fancy panties. I made a HUGE deal out of it if she accidentally used the potty and let me know about it. So, this is not to discourage you, but to let you know that you’re not alone. When she is ready, she will do it all by herself. All
