When is it safe to try to get pregnant after a miscarriage?
You CAN get pregnant within a month or two- it’s most likely if you’re young. I miscarried in Dec 2005 (10 weeks along) and tried and tried to conceive very soon after even though I was probably not emotionally prepared for another pregnancy and finally got pregnant again in Sept 2006 (9 months later). I don’t know why but I saw a acupuncturist to help with the pain and bleeding and it REALLY WORKED. I just found out I’m pregnant again last month and I’m about 7 weeks along. This time it only took about 4 months. I don’t know that I’d recommend getting pregnant the month after a miscarriage because you’re so focused on just having a baby inside you again that you’re not really dealing with the emotions. My main issue now and with my second miscarriage was that I could NOT get happy about the pregnancy. When I was pregnant with my son (who is 11 now),
