My mommy answer is this. If your daughter is embarrased of her harry legs let her shave them! I remember what a trama it was for me worrying if my mom would allow me to shave my legs. What happened was I was afraid to ask and just started doing it fearing that she would catch me and I would be in big trouble. In retrospect, it wouldn’t have mattered to her but I was afraid to ask. I hope that my daughters felt less trama than I did. If it is effecting yur daughters self esteem, 5th or 6th grade is not to young. I all really depends on how harry her legs are and how badley SHE feels she needs to do it.
