When is garbage, recyclables and yard waste collected in North Ridgeville?
Collection day is TUESDAY. Please place your trash, blue bags and yard waste out at the curb by 6:00 a.m. on that day. Guidelines for refuse collection are also available at the Utilities Department. Brochures with the guidelines for Blue Bag and Yard Waste recycling are available in the Utilities Department.
Each residence is supplied with a blue trash cart and a green recycling cart. Garbage, recycling and yard waste is picked up every Monday/Tuesday throughout the city (please contact the Utilities Department for the collection day in your neighborhood). Up to six extra bags of garbage, bulky waste items, such as furniture and appliances may be placed at the curb for pick up with your blue trash cart on your first scheduled pick-up day each month. Any additional bags or other garbage cans WILL NOT be picked up except on the first scheduled collection day of each month.
