When is free bulky item collection week?
Free bulky item collection is held twice yearly once in the spring (early March) and once in the fall (early October). A postcard will be sent to customers with the exact dates prior to each collection. As a resident, do you have a dumpster I can rent for household projects? The City of Tyler Solid Waste Department offers an 8 cubic yard container called the Litter Critter. The Litter Critter is available for use by City residents if eligible, a maximum of 2 times a year. This container may be used for small home projects such as garage cleanup or spring-cleaning but not for remodeling waste. The Litter Critter may be rented from Friday afternoon until Monday morning, or from Monday afternoon until Friday morning at a cost of $25, which will be charged to your utility bill.
