When is best time to visit Tanzania?
All year around as each time of the year offers different wildlife viewing opportunities. The exception could be around April and May when it normally gets rainy. The Great Migration is best seen between January and March or between June and July. In bush land or forest (Southern and Western Tanzania, Tarangire NP and Manyara NP), the dry seasons from June throughout October and are generally better for game viewing, as the game at that time is concentrated around water sources making it easier to spot animals. The best time to climb Mount Kilimanjaro is August-October and January-March when weather conditions are clearest.
