When is Barrack Obama coming to North Carolina?
On February 5th, 2008 I had to leave the precinct at 2:30 P.M. because the city of Johnson City was removing all Ron Paul signs, Roe for Congress, Hillary Clinton, and Vote No to the Wheel Tax signs from city properties and I had to get on the phone to track what signs I could down. The signs were beyond the boundary set of 100 feet and some were all the way across the street and way down the street. I did manage to recover 50+ from the back of one city truck… the rest I found were torn in half in a long green city dumpster. The order had came from a Mr. Shell over the building department. I took several pictures and retrieved what signs weren’t torn in half. There were no John McCain, Mike Huckabee, or Romney signs being removed, but the dumpster was the majority Ron Paul materials, some Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, and a bunch (Probably 100) of “Vote No to the Wheel Tax” signs.
