When is applied mathematics 40S or pre-calculus mathematics 40S required?
Applied mathematics 40S or pre-calculus mathematics 40S are required to complete the Business and Administration program, specifically for BUS-2002/3 (fundamentals of financial accounting) and BUS-2501/3 (fundamentals of production and operational management). The only possible scenario for a student to graduate with a BBA degree without applied mathematics 40S or pre-calculus mathematics 40S is when the student gets a BBA in the administrative studies stream. Student should make plans to acquire this credit somehow but not to let its absence deter them from beginning the BBA program. The Mathematics department is introducing a course specifically for this purpose, which will be available in the 2010-11 academic year.
