When is an employee eligible for Family and Medical Leave (FML) benefits?
To be eligible for FML an employee must · have worked for the employer for at least 12 months, even if not consecutive months; · have worked at least 1,250 hours during the twelve months immediately preceding the commencement of the leave; ·and have certification from a health care provider documenting the serious health condition.
