Technicians are to complete a Record of Inspection (ROI) form for each vehicle they inspect. One copy of the completed form is to be given to the customer who requested the inspection and the other copy is to be kept by the facility for the current year and the following four years. These forms are to be retrievable based on the vehicle information or certificate number issued. It is recommended to attach the ROI to the facility copy of the VIP inspection.
