When is a good time to buy plane tickets?
I will go overseas (africa) this summer, and am trying to time my purchase of a plane ticket. Right now, the price from is about 1500 bucks (not including airfare to new york). Anyway, I normally just buy tickets when I need them, but with all this talk about how the economy is royally screwed, I am thinking the price might come down. Anyway, if you are an experienced bargain plane ticket hunter, I would really appreciate your advice! Thanks! A: Sometimes they have good deals on ebay for cheap plane tickets. You can bid on those and get a good deal. You can set up a search for “Africa” or “International” on ebay in the plane ticket category and have any ticket listing emailed to you when they show up.
