When is a good time to bring in Birthday Treats?

We have snack time between 10:00 AM and 10:30 AM, right before morning recess. That is the prime time to share a birthday treat. I discourage cake and cupcakes because of the mess the crumbs make in the carpet. Any other type of treat is pretty much up to the student. I would encourage you to have your Fourth Grader help make the Birthday Treat the day before. Cooking together is such a great activity!
