When is a background check required for the CNA applicant?
A. All new CNA applications to the testing company (Prometric) will be required to have a background screen prior to certification. This means the testing company will collect a fee and send a request to FDLE for a background report to be forwarded to the Board of Nursing at the Department of Health.
