When ironing clothes what is it about the spray mist from the iron or water bottle?

An electrician once told me never to use water in a spray iron. Electricity and water do not mix and you could have a big problem. The others gave you good advice – spray the article of clothing, roll it up, and put it in a plastic bag. You don’t have to put it in the fridge unless you are not going to iron it within 24 hours. If you are in a hurry you can use spray starch. That works great for me.

I never put water in the iron always use a water bottle. For something with really set in wrinkles, spray item and roll it up, put in freezer for about 5 minutes. This is how it was done before steam irons.

I use both , but if you need to do a lot of ironing spray your shirts or whatever it is that needs ironing put them inside a plastic bag in the fridge overnight ,the next morning iron them you will be pleased with the results.
